"With my work I want to give a voice to people who cannot speak for themselves." |
ABOUT
I would describe myself as a person who is always looking for new adventures. I've tried a lot along the way and that's why today, at the age of 43, I know exactly what values I represent, what I want to do and what I don't want to do. On my homepage you will find only projects that are important to me and with which I can identify.
STUDIES
During my studies of languages, economics and cultural studies at the University of Passau and the Universidad de Concepción in Chile with a focus on Ibero-Romance studies, I came into contact with other cultures a lot and decided to write my diploma thesis on the land issues of indigenous people in Chile. The work was subsequently published as a book. "Mapuche. Gente de la tierra sin tierra." is available online everywhere in German language.
WORK EXPERIENCE
As a tour guide, I climbed the highest mountain in Europe with groups and led them through the country, I worked as a bank clerk, crossed the Alps at least ten times as a mountain leader and yet I always found my way back to my calling: journalism. Whether as a news editor, photographer or documentary filmmaker: it is important to me to share my view of the world with people.
